For Shopify sellers
If you only sell on Shopify, Reckonmark still pays for itself. The scan loop reads your live product pages once a day against Shopify merchant policy, EU GPSR for cross-border parcels, and California Prop 65 — the three places a one-store Shopify shop takes the same exposure as a multi-channel seller. When something fails, you get an email with the failing line and a suggested rewrite tuned to that snippet. Add Etsy or Amazon later and the scan loop extends to them for free.
Three risks
Reckonmark is built around per-listing coverage, not per-storefront count. These are the three surfaces the daily scan targets that hit a one-store Shopify shop exactly the same as a multi-channel seller.
Shopify enforces accuracy on origin and material claims, and listings that pair a regional-origin phrase with a "ships from" address in a different jurisdiction routinely trip merchant-policy complaints. A SKU that was clean last quarter can be paused the next time a buyer escalates the description.
A Shopify store shipping into the EU needs a manufacturer label on the listing, a responsible-person address per SKU family, and the CE/UKCA trail behind it. Shopify will not produce this paperwork for you — and the parcels will start returning once enforcement ramps up.
If even one California buyer orders your combustion, food-contact, or metal-jewelry SKU, Prop 65 exposure lands on that order. The old 'we don't ship to California' workaround doesn't get you clean when a marketplace or 3PL reroutes the parcel through a US address.
Sample alerts
Examples taken from the kinds of Shopify-only product pages the scan surfaces most often — the failing snippet, the rule it tripped, and the suggested rewrite tuned to that snippet.
"Handmade in small-batch Vermont wood — ships from our Maine workshop with locally milled timber."
Shopify's merchant policies enforce accuracy on origin and material claims, and listings that blend a regional-origin claim with a "ships from" location in a second jurisdiction invite a complaint as misleading. The platform's policy update in 2026 tightened this language specifically around wood and natural-material SKUs, so the failing pattern is the one to rewrite first.
Suggested rewrite
"Handcrafted by us — wood sourced from small U.S. mills. We ship from our Maine workshop and will send a photo of the exact piece before you order if you want to confirm the grain."

"Hand-poured soy candle — cedarwood + smoke. 8 oz amber jar."
Combustion-product SKUs expose California buyers to chemicals listed under Proposition 65, and any parcel entering the EU needs the GPSR Article 8 manufacturer + responsible-person block on the listing. Shopify does not insert either one for you — both pieces of copy need to live in the Shopify product description so the page surfaces them before checkout.
Suggested rewrite
"Hand-poured soy candle — cedarwood + smoke. 8 oz amber jar. WARNING: Burning this candle exposes you to chemicals including soot, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. Manufacturer: [your brand], [street], [city, state zip]. Responsible person (EU): [RP name], [EU address], rp@yourbrand.com. Compliance contact: compliance@yourbrand.com."
Paste-ready — tuned to the failing snippet above.

Comparison
Enzuzo owns the privacy-policy page and the cookie banner; Reckonmark owns the product description. The three rows below are the ones a one-store Shopify merchant hits first when weighing the two — for the full matrix head to the comparison page.
| Attribute | Reckonmark | Enzuzo |
|---|---|---|
| Monitoring layer | Reads every active Shopify product page daily against the rules engine + an LLM pass — origin claims, GPSR, Prop 65, FTC, trademark. | Hosts a privacy-policy page and configures the cookie banner on the storefront. Does not read product descriptions. |
| Origin-claim coverage | Catches the "made in Vermont / ships from Maine" overlap pattern before a buyer escalates the description to Shopify merchant policy. | No coverage on product-description origin or material claims. The product page sits outside the cookie-banner tool. |
| Channel breadth | One Shopify store, but Reckonmark adds the same scan loop to Etsy or Amazon Seller Central the moment you open a second storefront. | Shopify-only on the consent banner; no Etsy or Amazon coverage to extend to when the second storefront opens. |
